The brand new EVP37 and EVP37 stainless gearboxes from EP are available with ratios up to 134.82 and 106.38:1 respectively. Both have an insight power rating as high as 3 HP and an output torque ranking of 1 1,770 lb-in.

The EVP37 and EVP37 are available with NEMA C-face motor adapters, IEC adapters or as gearmotors. Other options include seals to provide IP69K safety and food grade essential oil. All shafts and hardware are high quality stainless steel as standard.

The shaft-mounted gear models can be found with EPLOC, EP’S compact keyless hollow shaft installation program. EPLOC combines interchangeable bronze bushings and a stainless clamping ring for mounting onto different sized solid shafts. This eliminates the need for high tolerance machining of the shaft and guarantees the reducer can be easily removed even after years of service in the harshest environments.

Traditional single-worm reducers commonly found on processing equipment are inefficient and wear over time. Helical bevel gears possess an infinite life, and so are 50% more efficient than solitary worm gears. The new stainless steel acceleration reducers are new on the outside, but inside you’ll find the same high-quality gearing the sector offers relied on for many years.

Lyman, SC – EP announces the immediate launch of the brand new EVP37 stainless helical gear reducer and EVP37 stainless helical bevel equipment reducer. Efficient, long-life helical and helical bevel gearing means these systems use less energy, operate cooler and last longer than typical single-worm gear systems. The material, design and smooth finish suggest high level of resistance to bacteria, chemicals and processes common to the meals processing industry.

If just recently you, among your friends or household participant had any encounter with stainless steel worm reducers, don’t think twice to discuss your point of view in remarks.
